Along with new 8-inch and 10-inch tablets, Lenovo also launched the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro which falls in the 13-inch category and carries a high resolution 2K display. The new devices have been developed by actor Ashton Kutcher, who’s been playing the role of the company’s product engineer for over a year now.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, unlike its smaller siblings, is only available with Android 4.4 KitKat onboard and it’s powered by the same 1.86GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3745 processor. As mentioned above, the display used here is a 2560 x 1440p IPS panel and it spans 13.3 inches wide.
Lenovo says that its latest tablet is designed for entertainment and it tags along some pretty interesting features, one of them being an integrated Pico projector that’s capable of delivering visuals at 50 inches and with up to 3 hours of battery life. And to complement this, there are dual 1.5-watt speakers on the front and a subwoofer on the rear, powered by Dolby Audio and Wolfson Master HiFi.
