Lenovo Windows 8 PCs to tag along SweetLabs’ Pokki software

All of the upcoming Lenovo Windows 8-enabled notebooks and desktops will be pre-loaded with the Pokki software suite, a post on the official SweetLabs blog has revealed. Which means that these devices will feature the Pokki Start menu, its all new game arcade, a horde of desktop applications and much more. And if that’s not enough, Lenovo computer owners can also visit the app store to download mobile utilities and games of their choice for the PCs.

The app distribution platform claims to bring relevant content for users around the world. It also supports traditional Windows desktop applications and wishes to bring all types of utilities to its subscribers. In order to make the Pokki software accessible to a wider customer base, SwwetLabs has introduced it in 13 new languages. So form now onwards, it will be available in French, Finnish, Italian, German, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America and Spain), Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Russian and Portuguese, apart from English. Acer is another PC manufacturer that ships Pokki with its range of computer systems.

The software in question offers a plethora of applications for desktops and laptops for a mobile-like experience on the big screen. Like smartphones and tablets, these utilities too deliver notifications to help people stay updated with new emails or tweets. And there’s a Pokki Menu to ensure instant access to all your installed applications and games. You will find titles like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Words With Friends, Pirate Storm and many more in its marketplace.

The Pokki software suite will now ship with all Lenovo Windows 8 systems and it can even be downloaded on other Windows PCs for free from the official website.
