The Lenovo Vibe Z which made its debut at the CES 2014 was launched in India last month for Rs 35,999. The smartphone has now gone on sale through the company’s official online store for a discounted price of Rs 34,999. What’s more, a smart touch cover worth Rs 2,039 is being thrown in for free.
The Lenovo Vibe Z is the first from the company to feature a quad core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The smartphone has the same display size as the Intel-powered K900, but it dons a fabric design instead of an aluminum form factor. The handset is 7.9mm thick and it weighs 147 grams. A 5.5-inch 20/20 vision full HD touchscreen has been placed on the front along with a 5MP wide-angle lens.
On the rear, the Lenovo Vibe Z sports a 13MP snapper with an f1.8 lens and an LED flash. The innards have some pretty beefy components. Apart from the quad core CPU, there’s 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE Cat 4 radios and a 3000mAh battery that can deliver up to 27 days of standby or 33 hours of talktime.
