It’s quite surprising that the Lenovo Vibe X2 which has its price set at Rs 19999 has managed to sell off a hefty 10000 units in the span of just 2 days. Yes, the device’s stocks on Flipkart have been exhausted now, and interested parties will have to wait for some time until the company can get more units ready to be put up on sale.
Calling the response of Indian customers ‘overwhelming,’ Sudhin Mathur, the director of the company’s smartphones division in India pointed out that the Lanovo Vibe X2’s layered design is a unique proposition which may have worked in its favor. On day one of its sale, the handset was clubbed with a number of different offers to entice prospective buyers.
Those who purchased it on Monday were presented with a 95 percent discount on the phone’s strap-on battery pack which complements its unique layered design. This accessory has already been released in India, and can otherwise be bought in exchange of Rs 1999. Apart from this, the launch day offers of this Lenovo smartphone also included free eBooks, a 35 percent Myntra discount and cashback on EMIs.
