While its Plus model has been selling in India since March, the Lenovo Vibe K5 has only just been launched in the country. Priced at an attractive Rs 6999 tag, this device comes fitted with a Snapdragon 415 processor. In contrast, the K5 Plus ships with a Snapdragon 616 chipset inside it.
And while the display size of both the devices happens to be 5 inches, the previously launched higher-end model offers 1080p full HD resolution rather than 720p HD. The Lenovo Vibe K5 smartphone will start being sold from June 22 onwards via Amazon India, and registrations for this sale have already commenced on the e-commerce website.
There’s a 13MP rear camera present onboard the Vibe K5, aside from a 5MP selfie unit. The handset has gone for 16GB of stock storage, but there’s of course a microSD card slot present on it for further expansions of up to 32GB.
A neat look at the specs of the Lenovo Vibe K5:
– Display: 5-inch, 720p HD

– Processor: 1.2GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415
– GPU: Adreno 405
– Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable up to 32GB)

Keeping this Lenovo device running is a 2750mAh battery. It will be offered in the form of gold, silver and grey colored variants. If you’re wondering, it does support 4G networks and has two SIM card slots inside it as well.
2pm on June 22 is when the Lenovo Vibe K5 will go live on its first flash sale. Those who wish to register for buying the device can do so now through Amazon which is its exclusive seller in the country.
