Selfie lovers now have a new affordable option in the form of the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite, which was launched by the company ahead of CES 2016. The phone has been slapped with a $199 price tag (about Rs 13260) and will likely be up for sale by early 2016.
As the name suggests, the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is a toned down version of its predecessor. While the previous model had sported a unique dual-selfie camera setup consisting of an 8MP snapper and a 2MP one, this version only retains the 8MP shooter. However, it does come with LED flash on the front panel.
The 13MP rear camera hasn’t changed between variants, and is accompanied by a BSI sensor, dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The dual-SIM Vibe S1 Lite has retained the previous variant’s 5-inch full HD screen as well. Changes include a less powerful 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processer as opposed to the 1.7GHz octa-core one fueling the older unit.
