Lenovo launched a new gaming laptop for India called the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro this week. The price is tagged at Rs 1,39,990 for the model with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, while the version with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 can be grabbed for Rs 1,59,990.
Both Amazon.in and Lenovo.com will be selling the Legion 5 Pro in India. Pre-orders are being accepted currently, although the laptops will not be shipped until August. You will also be able to purchase it offline sometime in the next few weeks.
Along with these gaming notebooks, the company is flogging its gamer-centric Legion Ultimate Support 24-hour service and support. It lets you contact expert technicians for advice on stuff like optimizing your settings, tuning, hardware, software and so on. Customers can purchase it separately at Rs 999 for one year, and at Rs 1,999 for two years.
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor, Windows 10 Home and a 16-inch WQXGA 2,560 x 1,600p IPS display. The anti-glare panel boasts of sRGB coverage, a refresh rate of 165Hz, 500 nits peak brightness and 16:10 aspect ratio. You get 16GB DDR4 RAM onboard that is expandable up to 32GB and a 1TB PCIe SSD NVMe which may be upped to 2TB.
Other key features include Intel Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, two 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio, a 720p webcam, a USB Type-C port, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, Ethernet, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a backlit keyboard. The cooling system consists of Coldfront 3.0 thermal management with multiple thermal sensors, a turbo-charged dual fan design and a quad channel exhaust system with fine thermal fins.
The 4-cell, 80Wh battery in the Legion 5 Pro offers up to 8 hours of average use. Measuring 356 x 264.4 x 26.85 millimeters, the gaming laptop weighs in at 2.45kg.
