At 3pm today, the Lenovo K3 Note went on sale for the first time in India via Flipkart, and 47440 units of the phablet were snapped up in just 5.2 seconds. Those are extremely impressive numbers considering that the device costs Rs 9999.
This successful sale is something that will definitely have Meizu worried, since its M1 Note happens to be the K3 Note’s biggest competitor. Lenovo had moreover already gained an upper hand by pricing its offering at Rs 2000 lower than what Meizu’s smartphone is sold at via Amazon.
The K3 Note happens to be a 4G LTE device that ships with a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display. This results in a high pixel density count of 401ppi that is extremely impressive given its retail value. Just like the company’s A7000 handset, this phone too comes equipped with the Dolby Atmos technology for superior sound output.
Lenovo has infused into it the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, but has of course layered the software with its own skin. Running the show from the inside is a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa core processor that works with 2GB worth of RAM. Its 13MP rear camera is accompanied by a dual LED flash, while its front is adorned by a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
Here’s a short glance at the main specs of the Lenovo K3 Note:
– Display: 5.5-inch, 1080p full HD (401ppi)
– OS: Android 5.0 Lollipop
– CPU: 1.7GHz octa core Mediatek MT6752 (64-bit)
– Memory: 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable up to 32GB)
– Camera: 13MP rear, 5MP front
– Battery: 3000mAh
The next flash sale of the Lenovo K3 Note hasn’t been announced as yet, but we’re guessing that it will be taking place next week on July 15 at 3pm on Flipkart.
