Lenovo Ideatab A Series

The IFA 2012 has been seening a good flow of new device launches, and amongst them are the Lenovo Ideatab S2110A, A2107A and A2109A that have surfaced with the latest IdeaPad notebooks. These tablets run on the Android 4.0 platform with the latter version sporting an optional keyboard dock for a laptop-like experience.

The Ideatab S2110A is part of the company’s premium lineup flaunting a thin and lightweight form factor at 8.69mm in thickness and 580 grams in weight. A 10-inch IPS screen with 10-point multi-touch input sits pretty on the front, while a textured back cover dominates the rear accompanied by a 5MP AF camera and LED flash. In addition to the 1.3MP front-facing snapper and Wi-Fi support, the device tags along external features such as an SD card reader, couple of USB ports, and approximately 20 hours of activity life, made available via the keyboard dock.

“The newest line of Ideatab products provides an option for everyone who wants to keep all of their favorite books, songs and movies at their fingertips, no matter where they go,” expressed Liu Jun, senior vice president, and president, Mobile Internet and Digital Home business. “Whether consumers crave a pocket tablet with 3G connectivity or seek a premium entertainment tablet for games and graphics, Lenovo has it, and at every price point.”

Categorized amongst the affordable segment, the A2107A and A2109A stales are more entertainment oriented with essential productivity feature in tow. The former device is equipped with a 7-inch display proffering 720p HD resolutions, Bluetooth 4.0, built-in FM, dual stereo speakers and 10 hours of battery life. Opting for the 3G version of this tablet enables A-GPS connectivity as well.

Lenovo Tablets IFA

Fitted within the metal alloy roll cage design of the latter slab is a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor accompanied by a micro-HDMI port, SRS TruMedia audio, and 16GB of storage. Here, visuals are delivered by a 9-inch 1280 x 800p touchscreen. It even tags along a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front one for imaging purposes. Both these budget-minded devices are fitted with a microSD card slot supporting a total of 32GB.

The Lenovo Ideatab S2110A, A2107A and A2109A price and release date detail are expected to surface in the near future.
