Lenovo has finally launched the IdeaPad Yoga 11S in the US and the device that was introduced back at the CES 2013, is now up for pre-order for a starting price of $800. The convertible will start shipping in the next 4 weeks and will be made available through retail stores from June 23.
Based on the Windows 8 platform, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S takes a leaf out of the other devices from the said series and can be set up in 4 different modes such as laptop, tablet, tent and stand. Using the gadget in one of the unconventional modes is not likely to be a big problem as it has been fitted with a 11.6-inch IPS 10-point multi-touch display. This HD LED screen can render visuals in 1366 x 768p resolution.
Besides helping users to get their work done on the run, the hybrid device also strives towards keeping them entertained. It has a physical keyboard and comes encased in a chassis with soft-touch exterior. Prospective customers have the option of picking it up in silver grey and clementine orange shades.
