Open sale for the Lenovo A6000 Plus scheduled from May 25 to 26

The Lenovo A6000 Plus is still going strong in India and the company wants to make it easier for you to get your hands on the smartphone. So instead of holding another flash sale next week, the OEM will be offering the device through an open sale which will last for 2 entire days.

According to the Flipkart listing, the sale will start on May 25 which is the coming Monday and will end on the next day. Registrations are not required to purchase the Lenovo A6000 Plus here and the phone’s price is still the same at Rs 7499.

For holding a sale of such, it could mean that Lenovo has brought in quite a huge inventory. On the other hand, the company might even be trying to get rid of remaining units and we wouldn’t be surprised if the phone was discontinued as the original A6000 model was also short-lived.

Lenovo A6000 Plus

The A6000 Plus faces huge competition in India mainly from the new Yu Yuphoria and the Xiaomi Redmi 2, both offering very similar features and at cheaper amounts. The handset is an attractive release which is mainly why it has been so popular in India.

Its original model was amongst the first to bring LTE connectivity in a very affordable package and the new Lenovo handset also continues that tradition. The main different between the 2 phones is that the Plus model has double the memory provisions.
