It’s only been a month since Lenovo started selling the K4 Note through flash sales, but it’s already decided to free it from the system. The handset will now be available without any registrations starting from February 15 via Amazon.
Lenovo has also decided to debut a new pearl white color variant of the K4 Note on the same date. The phone has only been vending in black up till now. A post on its India Twitter handle warns there will be limited stocks of the new version. The shift towards an open sale should come as a relief to those averse to the flash model which can be a blessing or a curse for the sales of a device.
The K4 Note has done well for itself so far, with the company claiming over 1.1 million people have registered for the device. Out of those, 180000 have bought it from the time of its release a month ago. Note that only the smartphone will be vending via the open sale and not the AntVR headset combo. The former is priced at Rs 11999 and the latter at Rs 13299.
