When the Lenovo A7000 was unveiled to the world as a successor to the A6000, it was certain that the device will be making its way into India since its predecessor was primarily aimed at the country as well. And now, hopeful buyers can start looking forward to April 7 when it’s expected to be unveiled here.
The Chinese company has started sending out invites to an event to be held on the above mentioned date. Although it hasn’t revealed what it will be showcasing at this gala, the Lenovo A7000, which was first unleashed at this year’s MWC, is indeed expected to be the star of the show.
We don’t have an idea of what the price of this handset will be, however, it should hover somewhere around the Rs 10000 mark. Lenovo holds its flash sales on Flipkart every Wednesday, so if the handset is indeed launched in India on April 7, the 15th of the said month is when it could go on sale.
For those unaware, the Lenovo A7000 ships with a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display. It happens to be the first smartphone in the world to feature the Dolby Atmos audio technology. A 64-bit MediaTek processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop are some of its other highlights.
