Lenovo A7000 Plus gets unveiled with upgraded specs

Known to be the world’s first smartphone with Dolby Atmos speakers, the Lenovo A7000 has just been granted a Plus model which offers a number of upgraded specifications. This 4G LTE device has been launched in the Philippines, but is yet to be announced for other markets.

The new Lenovo A7000 Plus has its price set at 7999 in the country’s local currency called PHP. This retail value gets translated into around Rs 11400 in Indian currency. However, if or when it does arrive in India, the cost is expected to be lower than that, as there’s a lot of competition here for the device to counter.

The A7000 Plus improves upon its predecessor by offering a 1080p full HD display rather than a 720p HD one. The panel size is still the same at 5.5 inches. A 1.7GHz octa core processor powers it from within, taking assistance from 2GB of RAM. Instead of 8GB of storage which was present on the previous model, there’s 16GB worth of space to be exploited, aside from a microSD card slot.
