Lenovo A2010 lets go of flash sale model, now available freely at Rs 4999

One of the most affordable 4G LTE smartphones available out there, the Lenovo A2010 has just let go of its flash sale model. That means it will be available to buy for interested parties without any registrations, at its highly attractive price tag of Rs 4999.

Lenovo had held the first flash sale of the A2010 on Flipkart only last week, but it has decided to abandon that sales model immediately. Although it has revealed this news via a press statement, it has stopped short of mentioning the true reason behind it.

What matters however is that the 4G LTE capable and extremely affordable A2010 is now easily accessible to potential buyers in India in the form of both its white and black models. The device provides the benefits of a 4.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 854 × 480 pixels and a 1GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735 CPU.

Lenovo has equipped the handset with the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and has pushed inside it 1GB worth of RAM and 8GB of flash storage that’s of course expandable. A 2000mAh battery, a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front snapper complete its offerings.

Like we said, both the white as well as black models of the Lenovo A2010 are now available via Flipkart without any registrations, in exchange of Rs 4999. There’s no word on whether this is a permanent move, or whether the device will be going back to its flash sale roots in the near future.
