HTC’s upcoming flagship which is more or less confirmed to be the One M9 has been leaked one too many times. And while we’ve seen images and specs popup every other day, promotional videos which showcase the handset’s capabilities also made it out to the open.
Certainly, things are getting heated up over at the Taiwanese company and it looks like the OEM has come down hard on the source of the leaks, @upleaks. The clips were posted to YouTube, but have been pulled down and even the leaksters Twitter account as well as website have disappeared [Update: They’re back!]. Nevertheless, Android Central has managed to get screenshots of the HTC One M9 promo content.
And we’ve also found a mirror clip (see below), but there’s no telling for how long the video will be up. As you can see in the image above, the HTC flagship looks very much similar to the previous model. The front looks indistinguishable, while the rear highlights that the Duo Camera will be dropped in favor of a single lens which is said to be rated at 20MP.
The shooter on the front is an UltraPixel sensor and there’s a 5-inch 1080p display for visuals. BoomSound speakers are also onboard and they’re likely more powerful compared to previous versions. What’s more, the videos show that Dolby Audio Surround will be included. The One M9 will continue to offer the BlinkFeed UI and carry the new Sense 7 UX with themes support.
