Here’s your chance to grab a first look at the HTC One mini 2, a press image of which has been leaked out by the ever so reliable @EvLeaks Twitter account. This is obviously a smaller iteration of the M8, but what’s interesting is that one of the flagship’s most prominent features, the Duo Camera setup, is absent on it.
As can be seen in the image, the One mini 2 grabs the same color options as those of its elder cousin – gray, silver and gold. The device even borrows design cues from the said handset.

HTC made headlines earlier this year when it announced a refresh to its 2013 flagship, infusing the new device with a host of interesting additions. The most prominent among those was Duo Camera which places two snappers on the rear surface of the phone to allow users to adjust focus on their images even after they’ve been clicked.
The powerful M8 runs on a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU, and features 2GB worth of RAM. Its predecessor did not kick in a microSD card slot, but this one certainly does, enabling expansions of its storage up to a whopping 128GB.
