Lava has come out with a new tablet-laptop hybrid dubbed the Twinpad aimed at students and working professionals. The device has been slapped with a Rs 15999 price tag and will be available through retail stores, multi-brand outlets and e-commerce sites across India.

The Lava Twinpad ships with a detachable keyboard and is bi-directional, meaning it can be placed on either the front or reverse side of the accessory. It runs on Windows 10 and flaunts its visuals via a 10.1-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280p. The display additionally offers support for a stylus.

The hybrid Lava device gets its engines running through a 7400mAh battery. It’s powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor which offers turbo speeds of up to 1.83GHz. The SoC is aided in its efforts by 2GB of RAM. As for its camera configuration, the company has blessed it with a 2MP front and rear shooter setup.

Users of the Twinpad can take advantage of its 32GB of inbuilt storage to store their data. There’s also a microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional memory in case they run out of space. The tablet’s connectivity options consist of 3G, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth and 2 USB ports.
