The Lava Iris N350 is the latest dual SIM Android smartphone to make its debut in the country carrying a cost-effective price tag. This entry-level device runs on the Gingerbread platform and it can be picked up for a little under Rs. 5,500.
The manufacturer has designed the handset with a slim form factor that measures 11.9mm in thickness, while the height and width read at 115mm and 61.5mm, respectively. The Iris N350 tips the scales at 115 grams after packing in a 1GHz single core processor for smooth multitasking and app performance. Here, users can connect to dual GSM networks at the same time owing to the availability of 2 SIM card slots. A HVGA capacitive multi-touch LCD sits pretty on the front, spanning 3.5 inches wide.
For hoarding content, users will have 160MB of internal flash storage and a microSD card slot accommodating up to 32GB of memory. Connectivity needs are catered to by GPRS and EDGE network band support, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A 2MP camera is placed on the rear for capturing images and recording videos, while the front sports a 0.3MP snapper. The company has also thrown in its Fusion app for entertainment buffs.
