Lava Iris Atom is a cheap 4 incher with Lollipop onboard

The Indian market has just been infused with a new smartphone by Lava, which goes by the name Iris Atom. This handset comes fitted with a 4-inch display, and has its price set at just Rs 4249. Although that has been mentioned to be its official retail value, it can be found selling on Flipkart at an even lower cost of Rs 3434.

The new Lava Iris Atom runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. By what we can observe from its images, the phone seems to be using a stock version of the software, which is evident from the fact that it’s running the Google Now Launcher and using apps like Google Camera and Messenger.

This Lava offering features two SIM card slots, and supports just 3G networks. Its 4-inch display is able to showcase its visuals in 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Powering the device from within is a 1.3GHz quad core processor, which combines its prowess with 512MB worth of RAM.
