European consumer electronics brand Packard Bell has unveiled three of its existing notebooks in a sparkling white color. The revamped notebooks are the EasyNote BG, MB and SB.
The new look was developed by Packard Bell’s Paris-based design studio to appeal to design-conscious, tech chic notebook users. In fact, the Packard Bell Studio is run under the leadership of design manager Adrien Camp.
According to Adrien Camp, design manager, Packard Bell, “Our research showed that white continues to be the color of choice for ‘tech-chic’ buyers, but that they wanted to add a dash of personality using intense color highlights. We’re seeing similar color combinations on fashion show runways around the world.”
“We picked lime green, sunny orange and dark chocolate as the highlights – three of this season’s hottest colors. And the white is no ordinary white: its sparkle gives it a striking visual texture,” added Camp.
The highlights are lime green for the 12-inch Easy Note BG series; sunny orange for the 15.4-inch MB series and dark chocolate for the 17-inch SB series.
All three Packard Bell notebooks are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors and come with built-in Wi-Fi and webcams.
Moreover, only the EasyNote MB and SB series of notebooks are available with BluRay optical drives, high end graphics (up to NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT with 512MB dedicated) especially for visually intensive application s like gaming, and the latest interfaces including DVI, HDMI and eSATA.
The Packard Bell Limited Edition EasyNote White notebooks are immediately available in all European outlets. The Prices which varies according to the country yet remain a mystery.
