Luxury smartphones are getting beefier by the day and the Lamborghini Tauri 88 is a fine example of this as it comes with top-tier hardware to complement the premium exteriors. The latest launch is also the most high-end reveal in this segment and it’s priced considerably lower than its competition.
GSMArena notes that the Lamborghini Tauri 88 will be available for $6000 which is much lower compared to the $9762 tag for the Vertu Signature Touch and even a good deal over the $6585 Vertu Aster. The smartphone in question offers better hardware, but of course, it’s the premium exteriors which make all the difference in the amounts.
The Tauri 88 is crafted from steel and it’s available in multiple colors including gold and black. You’ll also be able to give the phone a more luxury look through a leather finish which comes in choices of brown, red, blue, black and orange. The handset carries the renowned Lamborghini logo as is visible in the image below (courtesy of Hi-Tech Mail).

Coming to the hardware, the smartphone packs a 5-inch 1080p display (most likely a LCD panel) on the front. Processing power comes from a Snapdragon 801 SOC (either 2.3GHz or 2.5GHz) and there’s 3GB of RAM as well, with 64GB of flash storage. If these aren’t alluring enough, the company has also thrown in an 8MP selfie camera, a 20MP main shooter and a 3400mAh battery which can deliver an impressive 35 hours of 3G talk time.
