The announcement regarding the Kyocera Rise Virgin Mobile price and availability details reveals that the device has hit store shelves. The Android ICS-based smartphone can now be picked up from select re-sellers and company-owned retail outlets.

Its front panel is dominated by a 3.5-inch HVGA LCD multi-touch display for smooth navigation and a full QWERTY keypad slides out from behind the screen for convenient typing on the move. And to add to this, the handset comes with Swype to facilitate entering text on the virtual keypad. The phone binges on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but there’s no word on whether it will receive the Jelly Bean update or not.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that processes at a speed of 1GHz, allows launching multiple applications at the same time. The smartphone is armed with a 3.2MP camera, possessing attributes like LED flash and video recording capability amongst others. Meant for first-time users, it has been embedded with an expansion slot to increase the memory by up to 32GB using a microSD card.

Needless to say, the Stereo Bluetooth-enabled Rise offers access to the Google Play store and tags along various Google Mobile services. The eco mode for battery management should let users stay productive for a little longer. It can be picked up without a contract, but requires Beyond Talk plans starting at $35 per month.

The Kyocera Rise Virgin Mobile price and availability information suggest it can now be purchased for $99.99. It will be up for sale through authorized retailers across the US towards the end of September.
