The announcement regarding the Kyocera Rise Virgin Mobile price and availability details reveals that the device has hit store shelves. The Android ICS-based smartphone can now be picked up from select re-sellers and company-owned retail outlets.

And to add to this, the handset comes with Swype to facilitate entering text on the virtual keypad. The phone binges on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but there’s no word on whether it will receive the Jelly Bean update or not.
