Kingston Technology has announced to release two new USB drives in the US market. The DataTraveler Mini Slim USB Flash drive and DataTraveler 400 (DT400) Symantec Pocket Disaster Recovery Kit are the new arrivals, which promise to serve users in different ways.
As the name suggests the DataTraveler Mini Slim USB Flash drive is quite small and thin. It measures 1.529″ x 0.645″ x 0.253″. The drive possesses a unique look and is available in a variety of colors. The drive is available in black, blue, or pink with gray bottom casings. Kingston’s new DataTraveler Mini Slim USB drives are available in 2GB and 4GB capacities with suggested prices of $11and $19 respectively.
Talking about the DataTraveler Mini Slim USB Flash drive, Jean Wong, Flash memory product manager, Kingston said, “Kingston USB drives have always provided great functionality by allowing consumers to carry large quantities of information everywhere they go.”
“The DT Mini Slim lets anyone safely store and share their favorite media content everywhere they go with a little class and color, in an ultra-small form factor,” Wong added.
On the other hand, the DataTraveler 400 Pocket Disaster Recovery Kit is an 8GB USB drive that is preloaded with Symantec Recovery Disk software. The drive is a great help in a crisis and can aid in the recovery of data in case of a system failure. The drive gives access to important Windows disk tools and network utilities.
The DataTraveler 400 Pocket Disaster Recovery kit is also available in the 2GB and 4GB capacities for $19 and $36 respectively, while the 8GB version is available at $67.
