Another smartphone, the Karbonn Titanium S5i has proclaimed its arrival in the entry-level category and it is here to take on the Micromax phones and other affordable handsets that fall in the sub-8K category. The phone in question comes attached with a price tag of Rs 7,999 and although it has been listed on a couple of e-retailers in India, the company is yet to confirm it.
The dual SIM device comes across as a successor to the Titanium S5 and S5+ and is currently available for purchase in shades of deep blue and white. Its entire front panel is dominated by a 5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen of 480 x 854p resolution and a 0.3MP camera accompanies the display to facilitate web conferencing on the move.
As for the primary camera, there’s an 8MP snapper complete with auto focus and flash support to help you capture good quality images and videos. The Jelly Bean 4.2-powered Karbonn handset employs a dual core processor ticking at 1GHz along with 512MB of RAM for supervising the internal working. Its onboard memory is expandable by up to 32GB and a 2000mAh lithium-ion battery has been placed under the hood for keeping it charged for an entire day.
The Karbonn Titanium S5i is available for Rs 7,999 at Homeshop18, and Flipkart says it is coming soon for Rs 7,990.
