Karbonn’s high-end Titanium Hexa smartphone has finally gone up for pre-order in India after being launched in back in March. The device is available exclusively through Amazon where it’s tagged at Rs 16,990. Those who reserve the phone will be entitled to a free Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset which is said to be a limited time offer.
The Titanium Hexa from Karbonn was unveiled along with the Octane and Octane Plus handsets. All three devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat and are amongst the first with MediaTek chipsets to offer the latest Google mobile OS in India. The Hexa, as its name suggests, has a 6-core processor. The chipset implemented here is the MT6591 which features Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.5GHz each.
For an affordable phone, it offers quite a good deal of features. The design isn’t quite attractive, but the specs surely are. A 5.5-inch LTPS LCD touchscreen with 1080p resolution, a scratch-resistant glass and an oleophobic coating, can be found on the front accompanied by a 5MP webcam. The rear on the other hand, has a 13MP AF camera that can record videos in 1080p FHD quality. Other features of the 6.9mm phone include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 2050mAh battery.
If you’re interested in purchasing the Karbonn Titanium Hexa, the smartphone can be pre-ordered through this link. The Amazon listing states that the device will be released on May 20.
