You’ve probably never head of Jivi and we won’t blame you as the company is relatively small, but it’s trying hard to get some recognition in the market through devices like the recently launched JSP Q56. The handset isn’t anything out of the ordinary in design, so what does it offer?
Well, the Jivi JSP Q56 comes with a 1.2GHz quad core processor (of unknown make) and for a very attractive price. The phone is being touted as the most affordable option with a quad core chip. The company has thrown in a few other features to make it a bit attractive, like Android 4.4 KitKat (yet no guarantee of future updates), dual front facing speakers and an 8MP rear camera.
The snapper is accompanied by an LED flash and will most likely support 1080p video capture, while the front shooter is rated at 2MP. For visuals, the company has thrown in a 4.5-inch FWVGA panel. And as you’d expect, the phone comes with dual SIM card housing with one slot supporting 3G networks.
Apart from this, there’s 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a 32GB compatible microSD card slot. It’s also interesting that the company has thrown in a 2000mAh battery at such a lot price point.
