Wireless technology products maker CSR has rolled out i.Tech’s chic looking Clip D-Radio Bluetooth headset, which incorporates CSR’s state-of-the-art BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon, in India. The all-new Clip D-Radio boasts of being the world’s first stereo headset that offers support to v2.1+EDR of the Bluetooth specification and offers the wireless streaming of high quality audio from a mobile phone, music player or its integrated FM radio.
The Bluetooth headset employs CSR’s BlueCore5-Multimedia with the in-built DSP, to offer a flexible design along with the Clear Voice Capture (CVC) technology for advanced echo and noise suppression that will give users a breathtaking audio experience for music or phone calls. Seemingly, the Clip D-Radio Bluetooth headset is interoperable with most Bluetooth devices.

The Clip D-Radio Bluetooth headset is compact in design and weighs in at merely 21.5g. The headset’s superior OLED display enables users to view the incoming caller’s details and also browse through the various FM stations. Apart from displaying missed calls along with battery and pairing status updates, the i.Tech headset features a dial out function where users can store up to ten numbers and can additionally setup four favorite radio stations too. In addition to being the world’s first Bluetooth stereo headset with Bluetooth v2.1, this latest headset is the very first Bluetooth headset to include a three buzzer mode through which users can distinguish between incoming calls. It can be recharged with the help of a PC USB port.
CSR’s high performance BlueCore5-Multimedia technology helps Clip D-Radio to achieve enhanced data rate (EDR) for lower power consumption. The headset can deliver up to 7 hours of quality audio streaming time, or up to 150 hours whilst on standby for the radio headset. Supporting the new Bluetooth specification v2.1+EDR, the headset is compatible with both A2DP and AVRCP profiles ascertaining connectivity to a wider variety of music sources whilst maintaining the ability to easily switch between phone calls and stereo music.
