The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have officially gone up for pre-orders in India. Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Flipkart have listed the handsets on their websites. You can alternatively head to a retail outlet and pre-book the devices.
Apple is keeping iPhone prices in India sky-high this year, starting at Rs 99900 for the 64GB iPhone XS. The 256GB iPhone XS costs Rs 114900, while the 512GB one goes for Rs 134900. The iPhone XS Max ups the ante to Rs 109900 (64GB), Rs 124900 (256GB), and Rs 144900 (512GB).
Flipkart’s iPhone XS Offers
Flipkart (iPhone XS/iPhone XS Max) is offering some relief by bundling a couple of deals with the smartphones. You can get up to Rs 13500 off for your old handset. Note that the iPhone 8 Plus is seemingly the only device which will grant you that much discount. Rs 13500 is fairly low for an iPhone that’s only a year old and still sells at Rs 69900.
Other offers include a 5% cut for EMI transactions using HDFC Bank credit cards and RBL Bank credit cards. Axis Bank Buzz credit card owners get a direct 5% markdown. No-Cost and regular EMI options are also available.
Airtel (iPhone XS/iPhone XS Max) is dishing out a 5% cashback for Axis Bank and Citi Bank credit card customers. They’ll have to take up a 12-month or 24-month EMI option to benefit. If they want to pay in full, they’ll get 5X reward points.
Lastly, Reliance Jio doesn’t appear to have any deals bundled with the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. This is a break from last year when it offered buyback schemes and special iPhone data plans. Folks will have to pay in full when placing the pre-order, meaning there’s no cash on delivery option.
