The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 have officially gone up for sale in the first wave of countries around the world including the US, the UK, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Early birds who’ve already pre-ordered it will soon get their shipments delivered.
Apple has even started sending notifications to people in the US that their iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max is on the way. Meanwhile, anyone who tries to order the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max from Apple’s online store now will have to wait for 1 or 2 weeks to get it.
iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max Long Lines
Impatient buyers can try their luck at the nearest Apple Store if they don’t want to wait until October. Images of fans waiting in long lines have started emerging from Singapore to Berlin, with hundreds waiting overnight to make sure they get their hands on the coveted phones.
The shiny new Gold iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max appear to be a big hit among customers. We’ve come to expect serpentine queues when it comes to Apple handsets, but it remains to be seen how well the devices will do long-term. The iPhone X reportedly didn’t do as well as the company had hoped it would, with the $999 price tag cited as one major reason.

The iPhone XS starts at $999 (64GB) as well, with the iPhone XS Max shooting past it at $1099 (64GB). Moreover, iOS 12 seems to have changed people’s minds about upgrading. The software makes even the ancient iPhone 5S work faster, leading many to delay buying a new iPhone.
