The iPhone SE 2 just keeps on leaking, with the latest set of images coming from frequent tipster OnLeaks and Tiger Mobiles. The source of the CAD renders is unknown, so the photos can’t be taken at face value.

Even OnLeaks can’t confirm if these images are accurate and says he’s decided to share them only for discussion purposes. The renders are very different from what reports have been saying so far. Word on the street is that the iPhone SE 2 will look similar to the original, but with a few iPhone 8 twists like a glass back in one seamless color.

The photos above go against this narrative since it looks more like the iPhone 5 thanks to its black borders and silver body. There’s no headphone jack at the bottom, another departure. The biggest difference lies in its screen, since you can see a notch at the top.

While there have been some early reports which claimed that the iPhone SE 2 would look like a mini iPhone X, it seems more likely that Apple will reserve its full-screen design for its premium smartphones. The images depict the device as having a metal back, which would mean no wireless charging since the tech requires glass.

The leak doesn’t provide any specification details about the iPhone SE 2. It’ll probably bag the iPhone 7’s A10 Fusion processor, a 4-inch screen, a 1700mAh battery, Apple Pay support, 2GB of RAM, 32GB/128GB of ROM, and HEIF and HEVC image and video compression.
