iPhone 7 gets leaked on video

iPhone 7 Video

After a flood of image leaks, the iPhone 7 has finally gotten filmed on camera in all its glory. The interesting new video shows off the back and bottom portion of the device for about 6 seconds in what appears to be a Chinese setting.

There’s no way to tell if the handsets shown in the Weibo-sourced video are indeed the iPhone 7 or just very convincing fakes. The two do fall in line with what we’ve seen in previous live image leaks of the phone. For instance, the larger camera module is present, to the disappointment of the many hoping for a more subtle lens design than before.

The video notably shows the iPhone 7 with the lineup’s traditional mute switch. An earlier snap had featured the handset without one, leading to speculation that Apple was planning to jettison yet another long standing piece of hardware in addition to the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Speaking of, the headphone port is nowhere to be seen in the footage. It’s increasingly starting to look like Apple is indeed ditching the slot. Alleged photos of its Lightning-based EarPods had surfaced earlier this week, strengthening this notion. In a separate leak, a new image of the iPhone 7 shows off the various colors the phone may be available in.

The iPhone 7 can be seen in gold, rose gold, silver and space gray shades. Previous rumors had claimed that Apple was planning to release a new space black color, but there’s no sign of that version in the snap. The company could still be working on one though, since this picture doesn’t exactly constitute as hard evidence against it.
