Among all the regular iPhone 7 leaks, this is a big one. The fears of all Apple fans seem to be coming true, even as a leaked case of the upcoming device has missed out on grabbing a cutout for a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
This means headphones or EarPods as Apple likes to call them will need to be connected via the Lightening port. While this has its own advantages, it means that owners of the iPhone 7 won’t be able to connect any headphones other than the ones that come with the device.
As you can see in the image released by the @onleaks Twitter account. The bottom part of this purported iPhone 7 case bears three big cutouts. Two among them are for the rumored stereo speakers that will be making their way into the handset, while the third one is for the Lighting port. The top does not have any cutout at all, leaving no space at all for a 3.5mm jack.
Interestingly, the camera cutout on this iPhone 7 case is an elongated one. This could be either to accommodate the camera and the LED flash or the rumored dual camera setup that Apple is reportedly brewing.
The case seems to be meant for the smaller one among the two upcoming iPhone 7 models. Reports have suggested that this model will go for a single camera setup, whereas the larger variant (to be apparently called iPhone Pro) will adopt a dual camera system.
