Apple will be releasing its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus handsets in India on October 16, but those interested in buying them can pre-book them through various retailers right now. Several offline retail stores in the country are taking pre-orders for them against a particular sum of money, and the situation is similar with e-commerce websites as well.
The new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus can be bought via Flipkart at their full prices at the moment, but the site’s estimated delivery date has been pegged at October 24. Amazon is keeping its delivery dates a secret, but is bundling its devices with 6 months of Vodafone voice, SMS and data benefits worth Rs 8885.
Paytm has quite an attractive deal lined up though. You can pay Rs 2000 upfront and register for buying the device. On October 15, you will be sent a link to go ahead and buy the iPhone 6S or the iPhone 6S Plus at its full price. The next day, you can collect the device from your nearest The Mobile Store by showing your proof of purchase.
While this site will ask you yourself to pick up your phones, Snapdeal is promising day one deliveries to its customers. Those who manage to complete its pre-booking obligations by 4pm on October 15 will get their device the next day, provided they are residents of Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Here’s a look at the common specs of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus:
