Following the arrival of the Aqua HD 5.0 and Aqua Y2, a couple of more Intex smartphones have popped up online under the Aqua M5 and Aqua Desire HD branding. The former device is already on sale in the country at Rs 5299, while the latter is listed as coming soon on the company’s website with no price details to be found.
The Intex Aqua M5 is a simple looking smartphone featuring a non-glossy black finish. Despite being 9.9mm thick, the phone appears to be slim. It packs a 5-inch FWVGA display and a 2MP camera on the front, while the rear has an 8MP shooter. On the inside, this device gains steam from a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek processor.
A mere 512MB of RAM accompanies it along with 4GB of storage and a microSD card slot. Intex has also fitted dual SIM card slots, and a 2000mAh battery. The phone can deliver around 5 hours of talk time when on 3G. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and an update to Lollipop has been promised.

The Aqua Desire HD is a decent looking Android KitKat smartphone that offers octa core performance. The handset falls in the mid-range with a 5-inch HD display and a 1.4GHz chipset, and it also delivers a 5MP selfie camera as well as a 10MP main shooter.
