Intex Cloud Y4+ arrives in India with Jelly Bean OS, dual core SoC in tow

The Intex Cloud Y4+ smartphone has officially been introduced in India and the manufacturer has also started selling it for a very reasonable price of under Rs 6,000. It comes drenched in the shades of black, white, blue, red or yellow, says the company.

This compact device measures 127 x 65 x 10.7 millimeters and tips the scales at merely 122 grams. On the front side, you will find a 4-inch TFT touchscreen which is said to be capable of projecting images in a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Two SIM card slots have been carved out into the chassis and it sports dual cameras as well. A 5MP one lies on the back side, whereas a 1.3MP webcam is present for facilitating video conferencing over the internet.

This 3G-enabled handset brings a dual core processor which ticks at 1.2GHz and seeks assistance from 512MB of RAM. And as far as its interface is concerned, the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS has been chosen to take care of it and for ensuring smooth transitions between applications. A 1400mAh battery is placed inside the device for keeping it charged up for talk time of about 6 hours at a stretch and standby time of close to 250 hours.
