Intex is all geared up to launch a new Aqua V5 smartphone which happens to be a cheap 3G phone offering dual SIM support. Priced at just Rs 2825, this device runs the outdated 4.4.2 KitKat version of the Android OS from Google.
The new Intex Aqua V5 comes fitted with a 3.5-inch TFT display which befits its low retail value. Its HVGA 320 x 480 pixel resolution too isn’t something to drive home about.
Fueling this Intex device is a 1GHz single core processor that’s assisted in its operations by just 256MB worth of RAM. This entire setup is housed by a low-cost Spreadtrum SC7715A chipset.
The new Aqua V5 has been blessed with a two camera setup as well. The snapper on its front grabs a VGA sensor, while the one on its rear surface goes for a 2MP unit.

The new Intex Aqua V5 has only been listed on the company website as of now, and there’s no word on when it will be officially released in the Indian market.
