Intex Aqua Twist offers a 5MP rotating camera at just Rs 5199

Intex Aqua Twist

Intex has launched the Aqua Twist in India, listing the phone on its website without any availability details. The handset is the latest addition to the brand’s lineup of entry-level phones, with its Rs 5199 price tag.

The Intex Aqua Twist will have its work cut out for it within the overcrowded segment. The brand is looking to set the phone apart from its competitors by fitting it with a flippable 5MP camera unit which serves as both main and front-facing camera. The snapper comes accompanied by an aperture of f/2.8 and LED flash.

This isn’t a novel concept for budgets devices. For instance, the iBall Andi Avonte 5 also offers a rotating 8MP shooter module with dual-LED flash and autofocus. It arrived in June last year and is currently available via Flipkart at Rs 4699. Going back to the Intex smartphone, the device’s key specs are pretty much in line with other models in the affordable market sector.

A rapid take on the main specifications of the Intex Aqua Twist:

– Display: 5-inch IPS, 480 x 854 pixels

The company promises the powerhouse can last for 275 hours of standby time and up to 18 hours of talk time. In terms of memory, the phone packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM.
