BBC Urdu To Release ‘India Online Series’ from Today, the online edition of BBC’s Urdu service is introducing an interactive programme in the cities of Delhi, Hyberabad and Mumbai to discuss the present standing of the language in India. Launching in Delhi on February 1, 2006; the ‘India Online series’ will move on to Hyderabad engaging renowned personalities from the Indian media, politics and the entertainment industry, as per a BBC press release on Tuesday.

The journalists will be conducting panel discussions on the topic of Urdu and New Media in Delhi and Hyderabad. On the other hand in Mumbai a high-profile panel will discuss the relationship between Urdu and Bollywood and how it has altered over the years.
