India’s Premiere Gaming Institute, named International Institute of Gaming & Animation (IIGA) has been introduced in the commercial, style and talent capital of India – Mumbai. IIGA will offer aspiring young minds certified industry-specific courses on Gaming and Animation. Once the course has been successfully completed, the institute will also offer guaranteed placements to its students, in the industry’s leading gaming companies in India and worldwide.

Gaming and animation are literally like two equally independent children of the same parent. Though diversely different, they do merge in their attributes. The all-new IIGA has been conceptualized with an intention to get the best heads of the gaming and animation industry together and offer training and develop new students who have the capacity to take the industry to a whole new level.

Mohit Sureka, Director of Programs maintained, “Seeing the lack of qualified people in the gaming industry, IIGA is a step forward in nurturing talent and training them in the field of Gaming & Animation. Gaming is a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide and once we have quality people, India can become a hub for Game, Animation and Visual Effects Development. The students at IIGA will be trained by the best people currently working in the industry.”

At IIGA, students are expected to encounter excellent training standards which use industry specific hardware and software. The institute has tied-up with Sun Java, Symbian, Qualcomm and Forum Nokia for technical and training assistance. What’s more, with all the latest mobile phones for testing their games and applications, students can gain practical knowledge of development, debugging and deployment.

At present, IIGA offers certified programs covering all aspects of Online, Mobile & Wireless platform which includes C/C++, Java, J2ME, Symbian, Brew, WinCE, Mobile Gaming, Mobile Applications, 3D Gaming, Flash, Action-scripting, Game Designing, Pixel Art, 2D/3D Animation, etc.
