Instagram clicks better pictures on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus now

If you’ve gone in detail into the camera specs of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, you’ll know that it supports wide color capture. Instagram has just announced that it has finally managed incorporate support for this into the iOS app.

This effectively means that Instagram photos clicked using the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus will be slightly more vibrant than those clicked via other smartphones. These images will moreover also look better on the said devices, since their displays support a wider color gamut than others.

It would be good to know that no update is needed in order to get the feature, as it has already been rolled out through a previous update. It’s only now that Instagram’s co-founder has revealed about it through his Twitter account.

Another new addition is with regards to Live Photos. Users will now be able to import them into their Instagram Stories without any hassles. There, they will get converted into Boomerangs for easy viewing.

It was only last month that Stories was blessed with some really interesting upgrades that brought it even more closer in similarity to Snapchat. This feature received the ability to add geotags to your photos or videos, while it even got a number of fresh stickers to celebrate the holiday season.

The Instagram upgrade which allows the app to click better pictures with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was gradually rolled out by the makers prior to this announcement; so it’s already accessible to those who own the two devices.
