The iBall Slide 3G 7334 tablet priced under Rs. 11,000, is here to give the Swipe Tab a run for its money. Both of these devices have been embedded with dual SIM card slots and claim to support 3G network speeds.
Complete with a built-in FM transmitter, the iBall slate is integrated with a Cortex A9 processor which ticks at 1GHz. It is said to be capable of supporting 3G networks on both SIM cards inserted into the tablet and provides download and upload speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5.76Mbps, respectively. The slab treats itself to a generous scoop of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Additionally, the tab is armed with a 2MP camera and a VGA front-mounted webcam to facilitate video calling on the move. The Slide 3G 7334 can capture panoramic shots as well, thanks to 360-degree panorama photography mode. A 7-inch capacitive multi-touch HD WSVGA display lays claim over the front panel and projects visuals in a 1024 x 600p resolution.
There’s built-in GPS for navigation, Bluetooth for wirelessly transferring data to and from compatible gadgets and a USB port to establish connections with various peripherals and computer systems. Some of the pre-loaded applications are Nimbuzz, IBNLive, Facebook and Moneycontrol and needless to say, users can access the Play store from this device in order to download even more apps.
