iBall Andi 5U Platino happens to be yet another affordable smartphone coming from the Mumbai-based company’s foundries. This device ships with an 8MP camera, and has its price set at just Rs 4599.
Barring the camera though, all its other specifications pretty much match the low retail value of the phone. The iBall Andi 5U Platino runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, and it’ll be safe to assume that an update to the Lollipop OS in the future is out of the question. It does provide support for 21 Indian regional languages though.
iBall has fitted onto the device’s front surface a 5-inch display bearing a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, resulting in a pixel density count of 220ppi. Fueling the handset’s innards is the combination of a 1.2GHz quad core processor that has been paired with a 512MB RAM module.
The new Andi 5U Platino sports a 0.3MP front camera aimed at selfies and video calling. It has been equipped with 8GB worth of storage space which can be expanded further up to 32GB by means of its microSD card slot. Powering all its components is a 2000mAh battery which keeps it going in between charges.
