The iBall Andi 5 E7 phablet has appeared on an e-retailer’s website without any official notice and it seems to want to take on devices like the Micromax Canvas Juice and the Lava Iris 456 which recently went up for sale in India. All of these gadgets can be purchased for an amount of approximately Rs 7,000.
As is pretty obvious from its price, the iBall phone falls in the entry-level category, but seems to have been loaded with most of the essential features. One of its key highlights is the 5-inch FWVGA touchscreen that dominates the front panel along with a webcam featuring a VGA lens. And for capturing decent-quality pictures and videos, the handset has a 5MP camera on the rear panel.
And you must have guessed by now that it makes the most of the Android platform. Moreover, the iBall smartphone’s dual core Cortex A7 processor ticks at 1.3GHz and has 512MB RAM for assistance. Speaking of memory, its total onboard storage amounts to 4GB which can further be increased by up to 32GB using a microSD card. Dual SIM card slots have also been carved on the chassis.
