The iBall Andi 4F Waves has just been launched in India officially, following the smartphone’s unexpected appearance back in November this year. While the device was expected to grab a price tag of Rs 4699, it has been introduced in the country at a lower cost of Rs 4199.
It’s a dual SIM handset of course, and it grabs a 4-inch IPS panel bearing a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The iBall Andi 4F Waves is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad core Cortex-A7 processor which is assisted in its operations by 512MB worth of RAM. There’s 4GB of storage onboard as well, apart from a microSD card slot that supports expansions of up to 32GB as usual.
iBall has blessed this handset with a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front snapper, giving it extremely basic photo and video capturing abilities. Infused with the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, it runs courtesy a 1400mAh power pack. It’s 3G compatible, and features support for other connectivity attributes like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and more.
Last we heard about the Andi 4F Waves was when it had appeared out of nowhere alongside the lower-end Andi 3.5F Grabit and the higher-end Andi 4h Tiger+. These two smartphones will be made available in India at Rs 3499 and Rs 6499, respectively.
