Huawei’s Honor sub-brand has come out with the Honor 10 in China, with further plans to release the phone internationally in London on May 15. The handset is meant to be a cheaper version of the Honor View 10, in addition to borrowing elements of Huawei’s flagship P20.
This is most obvious in the unique Mirage Purple and Mirage Blue color options which looks just like the Twilight gradient model of the P20 and P20 Pro. The Honor 10 even packs the same Kirin 970 processor as its more expensive cousins. The new device is much more affordable though, coming in at CNY 2599 (approx Rs 27240) for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM version.
There’s another CNY 2999 (roughly Rs 31440) variant which carries 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. Key highlights of the Honor 10 include its trendy 5.84-inch 19:9 FHD+ screen. The panel has a notch up top, par for the course for Android handsets in 2018. Its 3400mAh battery boasts of fast charging to boost up to 50% within 25 minutes.

Huawei’s also hyping the AI prowess of the smartphone, making way for the gallery to better identify faces and automatically tuning photos taken by the 24MP monochrome and 16MP color dual cameras. The 24MP front-facing lens can additionally capture iPhone X-like portrait shots.
