Huawei Mate S shows off Force Touch display before the new iPhone

Huawei has managed to pip Apple by coming up with the Force Touch display-equipped Mate S before the iPhone 6S which too is expected to grab such a feature. This advanced handset even ships with a fingerprint scanner that can be used as a touchpad for navigating its interface.

For those unaware, a Force Touch display is actually able to take feedback not only of your touch but also the amount of force that is being applied on it. This enables the Huawei Mate S to render a number of convenient functions. For instance, while viewing an image, pressing harder on any part lets you magnify that area.

This new all-metal smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display. Its operations are fueled by a Huawei-made octa core Kirin 935 processor and 3GB worth of RAM. Its fingerprint scanner is located on its rear surface, and allows you to perform functions like scrolling through pictures and more.
