After months of speculation, Huawei has taken the wraps off its new Honor 6 flagship phone which comes with top-of-the-line hardware and backed by an impressive price. This high-end phone will retail for $359.90 and above in China and it will hit the market in two variants.
It’s quite surprising to see the company come up with a new flagship device considering that it launched the Ascend P7 just last month. The Huawei Honor 6 has been leaked multiple times and almost everything about the handset is known. Well, there are a few undisclosed details which we will cover in this post. Specs-wise, the new addition clearly outperforms the latter phone and it has a rather stylish design with a spin texture on the rear panel made through a 6-layer high composite technology.
The display on the front is a 5-inch panel from JDI proffering 1080p visuals at 445ppi pixel density. There’s a 5MP camera as well, while the rear sport the same highly praised Sony-made 13MP snapper that’s found on the OnePlus One and Oppo Find 7 smartphones. The main highlight here is the processor which is an octa core Hi-Silicon Kirin 920 chipset with quad Cortex A7s, quad Cortex A15 and Mali T628 MP4 graphics, capable of delivering performance at par with the new Snapdragon 805. Additionally, the phone comes with 4G LTE Cat6 support which can provide downlink speeds of up to 300Mbps.
