There’s a new Huawei smartphone on the block in the form of the G7 Plus handset which boasts of a metal body. This affordable offering from the Chinese company bears on it a fingerprint scanner as well, apart from other impressive specifications.
The phone is supposed to act as a successor to last year’s Ascend G7, and hence improves upon its precursor in a number of areas. The Huawei G7 Plus has gone for a 5.5-inch display bearing 1080p full HD resolution and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen on top of it.
The G7 Plus happens to be a dual SIM 4G LTE handset which runs on Qualcomm’s octa core Snapdragon 615 processor. This setup is provided assistance in its operations by 3GB worth of RAM. Buyers will be able to take advantage of 32GB of storage, and if that’s not ample for them, they’ll even be provided with a microSD card slot.
Huawei has pushed inside it a 3000mAh battery as well. A 13MP main camera has been placed on its rear surface, aside from a 5MP selfie unit. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 on top of it, but an update to the Marshmallow version will be released in February next year.
