Huawei’s Ascend P7 has been in the rumor mill for way too long and almost everything about the smartphone has been disclosed via leaks and rumors. Today, we’ve got another list of specifications which is a comprehensive one detailing key aspects of the handset.
The source of the information is none other than EvLeaks who’s amongst the most reliable leaksters on the internet. The details provided state that the Huawei Ascend P7 will look no different from its predecessor, the widely popular P6. This can be confirmed as we’ve already seen images of the smartphone get leaked through Chinese certification website TENNA. The handset will, however, be taller as the screen size has been increased to 5 inches from 4.7 inches.
The P6 arrived with an HD display and it’s only natural to see the Huawei Ascend P7 go official with a 1080p FHD panel considering it will carry flagship status. As previous leaks suggested, the smartphone will have the company’s own Kirin 910T processor clocked at 1.8GHz in a quad core configuration. The device will also sport 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 2500mAh battery and dual cameras (13MP rear and 8MP front) within a 7mm thin form factor.
The Huawei Ascend P7 is scheduled to go official on May 7 in Paris which is a little less than two weeks from now. It’s a bit disappointing that the company hasn’t worked to get the upcoming flagship to be slimmer than its 6.18mm predecessor.
